Broccoli Bacon Salad

Serves 4
  • 10 bacon strips, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or cashews
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crumbled bacon, broccoli, raisins and chopped nuts; set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar; pour over broccoli mixture, tossing to coat.
  3. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Stir before serving.
